Turkstat (official statistics institution of Turkey) monthly releases data about economic confidence. This data gives a snapshot of and impression about Turkish economy. Moreover, the detail classification and sub-indices of Confidence Index are Consumer Confidence, Real Sector, Services Real Trade, Construction indices. All these indices are calculated based on survey data conducted by Central Bank of Turkey and TurkStat. Consumer confidence index mainly represents financial situation expectation of households, general economic and unemployment expectations where construction confidence index represents the expectation of total sales in the real estate sector and the employment level in next three months. The latest data on the confidence index can be found on TUrkstat showing that in 2017 the economic confidence is increasing in Turkey. It is possible to say that Turkey's strong and stable political and economic environment after coup attempt in 15 July 2016 continues.
